Bathroom Cleaning – 11 tips to a perfect clean

1. Remove All Items Ready

Remove all items that belong to your bathrooms such as towels, rugs, shower products and counter top items.
Before you start cleaning your bathroom, remove all the annoying items so provides a blank canvas. This will help you to clean thoroughly all the surfaces and hidden areas in your bathroom, thus removing all the possible dirt and germs.

2. Collect & Remove Rubbish

Collect all rubbish found inside your bathroom and put it in a trash bag. Old toilet rolls, empty shampoo bottles, old razors etc.
Gather all the trash that has been dumped inside your bathroom such as paper towels and used tissues. Put them all inside the garbage bag. Also don’t forget to empty up your bathroom rubbish bin.

3. Dust & Sweep

Dust and sweep your bathroom from top to bottom, look at the ceilings and check for any new mould development or cobwebs.
After collecting all the rubbish inside your bathroom, start dusting up the room. Clean cobwebs in the corners, in light fixtures or extractor grills.  Brush other dust and dirt directly onto the floor. Vacuum or sweep up to pick up hair and other debris that may have accumulated on the floors. MAKE SURE THE FLOOR IS DRY, it gets messy with dust and wet floors.

4. Open the door for Ventilation

Make sure the door is open, and the fan is on to ensure proper ventilation.
Use fans during the shower and after 30 minutes, open the air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and windows. This will help in preventing mildew growth in the bathroom because the increase of air circulation and light helps in decreasing the moisture inside.

5. Bleach Usage

Pour some bleach or another disinfectant into the toilet bowl. Soak it and clean it last as give time for chemicals to do their magic.
Pour or spray bleach or a toilet-specific cleaner into the toilet bowl then soak it to remove entirely germs and bacteria.

6. Apply cleaners to bathroom 

Apply cleaner to shower, bathtub, sink, faucets and counter areas. Soak it for the meantime.

7. Clean Small Surfaces

Clean and wipe down other surfaces such as towel racks, tissue holders, bathroom trashcans, shelves, baseboards, doors, blinds and windowsills.
While soaking the toilet bowl, shower, bathtub, sinks, faucets and countertops, clean and wipe down other surfaces such as towel racks, tissue holders, bathroom trashcans, shelves, baseboards, blinds and windowsills using an all-purpose cleaner. Spray or sprinkle them then wipe down quickly.

8..  Time to start cleaning

Clean the shower, bathtub, sink and counter area.
After doing this, go back to clean up the toilet bowl. Scrub them using a brush then rinse and flush.

10.  Move back all the items you removed into their proper places. Give them a quick wipe.
After finishing up the toilet bowl and other surfaces, it’s time to move back all the items that you removed a while ago. But before you bring them back, give them a quick wipe. Make sure to polish off marks on shiny surfaces and chrome so they really shine including mirrors. Do not clean mirrors by going around and around, wipe window cleaning solution diagonally,  then repeat wiping diagonally in opposite direction. This leave a smudge free finish. TIP 11: Scrub and mop the floor.
After finishing all the needed clean up in every surface, it’s time to clean up everything that is left by mopping the floor. Scrub fist to remove all the germs and dirt that build up. After doing this, mop and rinse with clean water.
